We do not knowingly sell personal information of individuals under 18 because the Services are not intended for individuals under 18.

High Value Connect may share information with affiliates, subsidiaries, parent companies, commonly controlled entities, successors, or related business units for the following purposes:

If High Value Connect participates in an affiliated platform ecosystem in the future, additional disclosures may be provided regarding cross-platform visibility, safety enforcement, and shared recommendation systems.

We and our partners may use cookies, software development kits, pixels, tags, local storage, device identifiers, and similar technologies to operate the Services, authenticate users, remember preferences, prevent fraud, measure usage, analyze performance, personalize content, and support advertising.

You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us. Transactional, account, service, legal, and security messages may still be sent.
10. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING, PROFILING, AND RECOMMENDATIONS
High Value Connect may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, profiling, and recommendation systems to operate and improve the Services.
These technologies may be used to:
- Recommend users, groups, events, opportunities, businesses, content, or networking matches.
- Rank, sort, or personalize search results, feeds, profile suggestions, and notifications.
- Detect spam, fraud, harmful conduct, fake accounts, scraping, abusive behavior, and security threats.
- Assist with moderation, support, trust and safety, and policy enforcement.
- Analyze usage trends, platform performance, and product effectiveness.
- Generate insights or inferences about professional interests, preferences, and likely engagement.
Automated outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. Where legally required, you may request information about automated decision-making, object to certain profiling, request human review, or exercise other rights described in this Privacy Policy.
We do not use AI to make legally significant decisions about you without appropriate legal basis and safeguards where applicable.
11. VERIFICATION, IDENTITY, BIOMETRIC, AND TRUST & SAFETY DATA
We may offer or require verification features designed to improve trust and safety. Verification may include business verification, identity verification, profile verification, document review, selfie review, liveness checks, or biometric processing where permitted.
Verification and biometric data may be used to:

Biometric information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for verification, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution, and then deleted or de-identified as required by applicable law.

We may “sell” or “share” certain identifiers, internet activity, device information, or inferences for advertising purposes as those terms are defined under California law. We do not sell personal information in the ordinary sense of exchanging it for money.

We do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit unless we provide a notice and mechanism to exercise that right.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising California privacy rights.
15. OTHER U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS AND APPEALS
Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional privacy rights, including rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of targeted advertising, opt out of sale, opt out of certain profiling, and appeal denied requests.
States with privacy laws may include, depending on effective dates and applicability thresholds: Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, Texas, Montana, Iowa, Delaware, New Jersey, Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and other states that enact similar laws.
To appeal a denied request, email privacy@highvalueconnect.com with the subject line “Privacy Request Appeal” and describe the request you are appealing. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general or privacy regulator where applicable.
16. CONSUMER HEALTH DATA NOTICE
This section applies where Washington, Nevada, or similar consumer health data laws apply. High Value Connect is a professional networking platform and does not intend to collect health data as a core service function.
However, depending on what you choose to provide, certain information could be considered consumer health data under broad state laws, such as accessibility needs for events, health-related professional interests, wellness-related business profiles, precise location associated with health-related events, or communications containing health information.
If we process consumer health data, we may use it to provide requested services, support accessibility, operate events, comply with law, protect safety, or fulfill your instructions. We do not sell consumer health data without authorization where required by law.
You may request access, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or other rights relating to consumer health data by contacting privacy@highvalueconnect.com.
17. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
